DESCRIPTION:Run begins on east end of Heirtage trail by boat ramp. It is an out and back. Begin on trail by small shelter. Run across grass and road to start of Heritage Trail. The turnaround for the 3 miler is at the 1.25 mile marker. The turnaround for the 5 miler is at the 2.25 mile marker. Leave trail by baseball diamond and follow tree line. At end of tree line\, make a 180 degree by the mound of dirt into the canyon. Go straight through canyon where it comes out at Andresen. Turn left and go up bill hill on the sidewalk. \n\n\nTurn left at Kansas\n\n\nTake second left onto Iowa and turn left on Topeka.\n\n\nFollow Topeka back to Kansas. Turn left onto Kansas.\n\n\nThen turn left onto Detroit. Then make a quick left back into park.\n\n\nCut diagonally across field to trail that takes you back down to canyon. Follow Canyon back to David Douglas Park. Follow same route back to shelter. Race ends by shelter.

The turnaround for the 3 miler is at the 1.25 mile marker. The turnaround for the 5 miler is at the 2.25 mile marker.
